Adding badges to wordpress blogs

I blogged about this, but Rudolf suggested I add it here, so here goes. I was unable to add either Flickr or del.icio.us badges to my wordpress blog. When I looked in the wordpress forum, it says you can’t do it. If it is possible and I just couldn’t make it work, please let me know.

I tried it with del.icio.us, and it didn’t work because the del.icio.us widget is different. I used one of the RSS widgets, though, and it worked perfectly. It doesn’t look fancy, but it’s there. Thanks again!

Same problem with 43 trio widget…it contains Javascript and it’s not supported by wordpress…I have just put a simple link in the side bar …

You can do some rather nasty stuff with JavaScript, that’s why WordPress.com won’t allow people to use it on their blogs.

and add a delicious badge to the sidebar (again go to the presentation page/widgets and select the del.icio.us widget - configure it by clicking twice on it)
